After looking at several tralier fabricators of this type of trailer I chose Budget trailers 10 x 6 flatop with the mesh sides and spare wheel and bracket due to the better assembly and certainly better size and style of their clamping levers for the sides than other competitors, also and excellent interaction with their knowledgable and friendly staff.
I have a large interstate move happening requiring several long runs from Far Northern NSW to Qld and so far the trailer has done the job well with no problems, I checked the bearing adjustments and they were spot on, the large 12 inch brakes were well adjusted and cage sides are easy to remove with no jamming or forcing to reposition.
My only minor issue is the rattling of the load ramps under the trailer when on rough surfaces, easily solved by removing them when not needed, however will place some rubber dampening material under them soon.
The traiier while not light tows very well behind both my Ford Ranger Supercab and my diesel NT Pajero.
One modification I will make is to fit fold up tie downs to the floor at front middle and rear of trailer as strapping over the cage or drop sides is a bit difficult with wide straps due to the narrower mesh spacing.
This is a very capable trailer with 2 x 2 tonne axles and large Dexter bearings, the 3500kg rating limitation is only due to the coupling rating at 3500kg being lower than the 9 leaf roller rocker ssuspension/ axle rating capability.
Very pleased with the trailer.
